Outstanding History and Pics, I went to MCRD in 93 and over all the years lots of the base still look the same from its inception! I Love the Corps!! Semper Fi!! buy this one, you wont be disappointed!!

Very good, a lot of local history I didn't know about.

Brought back many memories (some not-so-fond). Would recommend this to anyone who went through boot camp here or who served at MCRD San Diego.

Outstanding history. Being based there three years I still did not know much of the historyof the base. This facility should remain as a national landmark.
